The administrative team at Morningside Middle School is committed to providing strong leadership, fostering a positive school culture, and ensuring that all students receive a high-quality education. Led by our principal and assistant principal, the team works closely with teachers, staff, parents, and the community to create an environment where students can thrive academically, socially, and emotionally. By implementing strategic initiatives, overseeing school operations, and promoting student success, our administrators play a vital role in shaping the future of Morningside Middle School.

With 28 years of dedicated service in education, Cathy Williams is a passionate advocate for student equity and excellence. A veteran of the Fort Worth Independent School District, she has spent 25 years serving the FWISD community, with 18 of those years in leadership. Her administrative tenure includes five years as a Middle School Principal and three years as a High School Principal.
Throughout her career, she has deeply impacted the Dunbar, Eastern Hills, Southwest, Western Hills, and Riverside pyramids, having served as a teacher, coach, and administrator. Having worked her entire career in Title I schools, she remains steadfast in her commitment to ensuring that ALL students receive a high-quality education.
She holds a Master’s degree in Educational Leadership from Prairie View A&M University. Her leadership philosophy is rooted in the belief that education is the ultimate outlet to a brighter future. She is driven by the mission to ensure that all students graduate prepared for college, career, and post-secondary success by creating a safe, inclusive, and high-expectation learning environment. Central to her work is the importance of building strong, meaningful relationships with students, staff, and families. Her approach focuses on educating the "whole child," empowering tomorrow’s leaders, and building strong community partnerships.
Beyond her professional life, she is a proud FWISD parent. She has one daughter who is currently a sophomore at a Fort Worth ISD high school, further deepening her personal investment in the success of the district’s students.
